Today I tell the story of “Barry”, a man who offered to pay me $40,000 for 2 hours of work. Nope, it wasn’t for sex work! Listen to this podcast to find out what he wanted me to do. But more importantly, listen to hear from TODD:

“Even when your own biography is breaking and entering into taboo areas, blazing and stabbing and juicing the days into their glistening parts our stories deepen as they go, finally revealing something not unlike the origin of the world.” Andrew Weatherhead

Tonight is the night I finally share the Q&A I did with Kevin Corrigan in NYC in January. Truly the highlight of my life. Listen here to hear him perform a dramatic reading of a poem he constructed out of the titles of my drawings. I still kind of do not believe this happened. But there is this recording of it, so apparently it did. But I still don't think so. Maybe nothing in my life has happened. Wouldn't that be something.

“The story of each stone leads back to a mountain.” -W.S. Merwin

Special thanks to my backup choir: Frankie and The Driers.

Also, about that room I am. The most trafficked bathroom in a family home. I've seen things is what that means. I've seen things and have been forced to accept the worst & most human of things. Imagine it. I love you.

"In the Aztec empire, every fifty-two years, once in an average lifetime, the world was on the verge of coming to an end. The sun would no longer move, night would be eternal, and man-eating demons would descend to rule the earth." - Eliot Weinberger

"In Kingwood, Texas, one afternoon in 2008, a woman and her dog Henry took a walk around their blistering neighborhood. A trio of preteen boys shouted a question at the woman: "Why are you so ugly?", and the woman now regrets not having released her man-eating demon to exact revenge on the little creeps." - Robyn O'Neil

Let's talk about little girl's skulls & 13 year-old boys drawing. Let's talk about you saddling horses and then we'll watch what you got in store. Let's talk about green onions and terra cotta (just to lighten the mood). Then push me out of your car. I'll dream of tigers. I'll continue to be loud and too much and big.

XO, Robyn

I'm on fire in an annoying way tonight. But don't worry, I apologize for it. There was also a bit of a snafu where I almost told you to watch the new CAT STEVENS comedy special on Netflix. Can you imagine that shit? Someone should make that for real. And lastly my leaky, unsteady heart set off an impassioned round of applause for each one of you.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
done!
